Bradbury Gardens, Cheltenham
Situated on the border of Pittville Park in Cheltenham, Bradbury Gardens opened its doors in September 2015. Bradbury Gardens has been developed in an idyllic location, and comprises a number of different buildings.
Challen and Christie are small five and six bedroom bungalows offering communal living, large open-plan lounges and accessible kitchens that enable residents to prepare their own food. Sumner Wilson offers a six bedroom accommodation, and there are five flats in total offering one and two bedrooms. All bedrooms have en-suite facilities and flats provide a single bathroom. Overhead tracking is available in bedrooms and flats, and this is discreetly fitted within the ceiling. Several bedrooms and flats are fully fitted with environmental controls, offering residents a greater level of independence.
Bradbury Gardens is set within beautiful gardens, with areas to sit peacefully outdoors, have BBQs and enjoy the company of others. There is also a sensory garden in which plants and herbs provide lots of different textures and smells. Bradbury Gardens has been developed sensitively to develop and enhance independence for people with complex and varied disabilities, while still enabling residents to have the opportunity of living with their peers and being part of the local community.
The Wilson Centre is a building at Bradbury Gardens that is available for external hire. It may be used as a function room, for educational purposes, for therapy sessions and seminars – to name just a few.
