Lockdown The Musical

Ellie, alongside long-term residents at Foundation House, was thrilled to take part in ArtShape’s Lockdown The Musical, a performance about personal experiences of the pandemic.

Ellie has been accessing ArtShape, a Gloucestershire charity, for years, and attends both drama and arts and crafts sessions every week. In ArtShape’s new musical, Ellie sings, dances and acts as the show brings to life what people felt, thought and did when the country went into lockdown.

BBC Points West visited ArtShape to capture some of the rehearsals.

The musical was performed before an audience at Ullenwood in November. Ellie said beforehand: ‘I’m really excited for the performance and for everyone to see!’
