Marking Chinese New Year

Bradbury Gardens’ Activities Coordinator, Jack Ouston, set up a fabulous display for Chinese New Year on 21 January. Our residents got involved for the occasion and Sam enjoyed making Chinese lanterns and dragon puppets, and dancing to some traditional Chinese music! The rest of the household enjoyed eating traditional Chinese cuisine that they had prepared and cooked themselves surrounded by all of Sam’s decorations that evening. The menu included spring rolls, stir-fried garlic green beans and chicken chow mein.
