Foundation House provides long-term residential care for those who have physical and learning disabilities and acquired brain injuries. It is available to anyone looking for residential care or supported living – either as a home for life or as a stepping stone towards further independence. All residents benefit from access to National Star’s extensive range of facilities at Ullenwood.

Based in the heart of Gloucester, Foundation House offers the expertise and support of National Star staff, who have been selected for their exceptionally high standards, reliability, friendliness and professionalism. The residence provides 10 en-suite bedrooms and one flat, as well as a number of facilities necessary for comfortable and supported living. These include overhead tracking from bedroom to bathroom, spacious wet rooms, a fully accessible bath, Sky television and wireless internet. Foundation House also boasts two large, light and airy lounges that are perfect for socialising and relaxing, with the downstairs space opening onto gardens on both sides. Two fully accessible kitchens enable residents to prepare their own meals.

In addition, Foundation House provides three one-bedroom flats for private rental. Please note that these are not registered with Care Quality Commission, and if required, care packages must be purchased from National Star or other providers.
