A winning Red Nose Day

A winning Red Nose Day
Red Nose Day in March was celebrated with a number of fun events at Foundation House. Residents and staff sported fancy dress on the day, the lounge was decorated with cheery red bunting and a series of team games inspired some friendly competition.

A game of boccia saw two teams battling it out as they aimed to throw coloured balls as close as possible to the white ball, and a competition involving using beanbags to knock down tin cans was hotly fought, resulting in an exciting tie-breaker. Team 1, consisting of Rob, Emma D, Kim, Xenon and Dom, were eventually declared the winners, with Kim toppling the most cans.

The games were followed by enjoying some Red Nose Day cakes and a Kahoot quiz. Emma B and Kim collected donations for Comic Relief, raising a brilliant £20.53.
