Keeping young people safe at Foundation House

National Star staff wearing PPE protective masks and clothing
We are pleased to share that over recent weeks the COVID-19 vaccine has been rolled out to staff across National Star, prioritising frontline roles that work directly with students or residents.

As you will know, since the start of the pandemic National Star has gone above and beyond to ensure the young people in our care are kept safe and well. This has included daily temperature checks by hundreds of staff, students and residents, an enhanced testing regime, stringent infection control and cluster group learning and therapies.

Despite the vaccine offering a light at the end of the tunnel, we will continue with our strict infection control measures and PPE for as long as we need to.

It’s been a challenging period for our charity and for the young people we work with, but we’re hopeful of a brighter 2021 and would like to thank you for your continued support.
