A big welcome to Ashleigh who has joined the Foundation House team as a facilitator and has just passed her six-month probation.
‘My first six months at Foundation House have been an absolute blast,’ said Ashleigh, who was previously a support worker for young adults with Profound Multiple Learning Disabilities.
‘I have really enjoyed getting stuck in and building relationships with the residents and the staff.’
Ashleigh has already successfully completed DP (medication administration) training and Midas bus training. She is now working on achieving a Level 2 qualification in adult care.
In her new role Ashleigh is part of Foundation House’s activity group, which plans and arranges great days out for residents.
‘We have just booked a girl’s holiday to Butlins for March next year!’
Ashleigh has loved her first six months at National Star and can’t wait to further develop her career with us.
‘The progression that is available at National Star is amazing and the support that I have had from my seniors and managers at Foundation House is astounding. I have thoroughly enjoyed working here over the past six months and I can’t wait for what the future holds.’
