A roar-some time on safari
Jamal, Sarah and Ruth enjoyed getting up close and personal with a variety of animals during a visit to West Midland Safari Park. Seeing the lions during a drive-through safari was a particular highlight, and the group also had lots of fun trying out the rides (the log flume was a special favourite for Sarah). Staff made the day extra special by bringing animal-themed cupcakes for all to enjoy as part of a picnic.
‘All residents came back with lots of smiles, so they clearly enjoyed their day,’ said Kerry Hatcher, Residential Manager at Ledbury Road. ‘But they were certainly worn out by the excitement and ready for bed when they got home!’
Other recent trips have included visits to the Flip Out trampoline park and walks around the local park.
