Christmas at Ledbury Road

Christmas at Ledbury Road

Ledbury Road kicked off the festive season with a variety of fun Christmas activities, including an evening of mince pies and carolling and a Christmas party that received a special visit from Santa himself.

On Christmas Day the residents who were staying with us enjoyed window visits with family members, followed by a long walk (for those not isolating). A delicious Christmas lunch followed, after which residents played with presents and watched some festive television.

Lewis went home for Christmas this year and was able to spend a few nights with his mum for the first time in two years. We were so happy to hear that they woke up together on Christmas morning and spent the festive period together as a family.

Ruth was also able to visit home for Christmas. She was delighted to receive lots of new yoga equipment, and her goal for 2021 is to continue this hobby, as well as the dance sessions she has recently been enjoying.

Using his communicator, Jack P told us that his favourite part of the Christmas festivities was meeting Santa.

Residents welcomed 2021 with a New Year’s Eve party featuring a buffet, dancing and singing.
