Enjoying our sensory room

Residents have been enjoying spending time in our new sensory room. After our staff were sponsored to take part in the Wye Float Festival, we raised a fantastic £1,400, and this, as well as donations from the local community and parents, has enabled us to purchase some brilliant music and light equipment.

Ruth has especially enjoyed trying out the karaoke machine (S Club 7’s Reach is a favourite!), Lewis has loved listening to nursery rhymes and interacting with hand puppets and Sarah has been relaxing on the beanbags. We will continue to furnish our sensory room with equipment that will benefit our residents.
