Our new sensory room

Our new sensory room
A new sensory room which will provide residents with a space to relax, explore and process their day is being built in Ledbury Road’s garden. The room will feature comfy beanbags, soothing lighting and items that residents have chosen.

‘This is a great opportunity for residents to have another space where they can relax away from the main house,’ said Kerry Hatcher, Residential Manager of Ledbury Road. ‘Jack Lofting’s mum has kindly donated some money for us to put towards resources for the sensory room. We can’t wait for it to be finished so we can start using it!’

Staff at Ledbury Road are also in the midst of organising training for intensive interaction, and the sensory room will be utilised for many of these activities. Our garden also boasts a new swing, generously donated by Lewis’ mum for all to use.
