Welcome to Ella

We are very excited to welcome new resident Ella, who moved into Ledbury Road this month.

‘Ella visited the residence throughout January to get used to the surroundings, see her new room and meet the other residents,’ said Kerry Hatcher, Residential Manager.

‘Ruth and Sarah were already familiar to Ella as they were students together at Ullenwood, and they fitted back together in an instant!’

Our residents were kept informed about Ella’s arrival with social stories to support their understanding in a visually engaging way.

‘Ella loves going out on the bus and she recognised the National Star buses in the car park on her first visit,’ added Kerry. ‘We can’t wait to set some activities up for her so she can access these often.’
