Elizabeth House, Gloucester

Elizabeth House is National Star’s student accommodation based in Gloucester. ‘Lizzy House’ as it is more affectionately known by students, offers residents the best of both worlds. For example, it is close to Gloucester city centre and a short drive from our Ullenwood campus.

Twenty-four students, with a range of disabilities, live at Elizabeth House, including wheelchair users. There are both single and shared bedrooms, with some providing en-suite facilities and overhead tracking. In addition, the accommodation has a fully accessible kitchen, computer room, living areas, accessible laundry and dining room. A small garden at the front and side of the property has a number of raised beds for gardening and a seating area for socialising during the summer months.

Students at Elizabeth House are known to be a sociable bunch, organising garden parties, cooking sessions and more to improve their social and independence skills. Residents are encouraged to build links with the local community and have previously worked closely with local schools and residential care homes.
