Become a Student Governor

The Board of Governors guide and monitor what happens at college and help make sure that the senior managers are doing a good job. The board includes two student governors, who help the governors with these tasks. Another responsibility is attending National Star Advisory Board meetings. This group act as ‘critical friends’ to the Governors and SMT and meet once a month online. One of the Student Governors will be voted in through the Student Union.

National Star is looking for a second Student Governor for the next two years. If you feel you would be able to join Board of Governors meetings and give your thoughts and opinions, join the Advisory Board and focus on activities to develop the organisation, as well as represent your peers, please nominate yourself below.
