National Star’s Emotional Wellbeing Service promotes good mental health and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), to enable our learners in getting the most from their social, educational, and life skills programmes.
We are looking for someone with experience of delivering high quality behaviour support to students or young adults with complex physical and learning disabilities and can assist with the emotional wellbeing needs of National Star students in a holistic and systematic way.
You will be joining our highly experienced Emotional Wellbeing department who offer a range of support including arts therapies such as drama and music, talking therapy, Clinical Psychology and Positive Behaviour Support. It is a dynamic and creative team with an ethos in reflective practice, learning and development. We would expect you to have previous experience of working with young people and adults with a learning disability and/or mental health condition, ideally within an education or residential setting and will be able to make your own contribution to the team whilst using your own initiative working alongside a wide variety of professionals from all grades and discipline.
