About the role
Ensuring accurate, up to date, documentation is in place for the services National Star delivers is a vital role to ensure that service users get the provision they require and that the organisation is correctly remunerated.
Working closely with the Head of Funding and Contracting and the Funding Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring Education Plans accurately reflect requested funding for services. You will liaise with Local Authorities and other external organisations. You will also support the Funding and Contracting Team with administration relating to student placements and other services National Star provides.
You will administrate the Continuing Health Care assessments and review process, liaising with external agencies and internal teams.
As a proficient user of IT software, you will need to be quick to pick up how systems are used and always be looking for how these can be improved. You will need to be dedicated to accuracy, possess an eye for detail and have a good working knowledge of spreadsheets such as Excel and be able to break down information into manageable sections for internal and external use. You will need to understand the principles of protecting service users’ data and be tenacious in getting the details you need to keep spreadsheets up to date.
Based primarily at the Ullenwood site near Cheltenham, you will also work closely with colleagues at all the other National Star sites. In agreement with your Line Manager, and subject to review if required, a proportion of home working can be considered after initial training period. There may be a requirement to visit other locations of service delivery and to attend meetings, events, conferences or training.
Working 37 hours a week, start and finish times can be flexible in agreement with Line Manager. This post is 52 weeks a year with 25 days annual leave (prorated) plus bank holidays.
