About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Funding and Contracting team and to support the breadth of services being provided.
Ensuring accuracy with the administration of the services National Star delivers is a vital role to ensure that service users get the provision they require and that the organisation is correctly remunerated.
Working closely with the Funding Co-ordinator you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of documentation, such as Annual Reviews, and submitting the documents to the commissioning bodies and other stakeholders. You will also support the Funding and Contracting Team with other administration relating to student placements and additional services National Star provides.
As a proficient user of IT software, you will need to be quick to pick up how systems are used and always be looking for how these can be improved. You will need to be dedicated to accuracy and have an eye for detail. You will need to understand the principles of protecting service users’ data and be tenacious in getting the details you need to keep records up to date.
Based primarily at the Ullenwood site near Cheltenham, you will also work closely with colleagues at all the other National Star sites. In agreement with your Line Manager, and subject to review if required, a proportion of home working can be considered after initial training period. There may be a requirement to visit other locations of service delivery and to attend meetings, events, conferences or training.
Working 32 hours over a minimum of 4 days a week, hours can be flexible in agreement with Line Manager. This post is 52 weeks a year with 25 days annual leave (prorated) plus bank holidays.
