Blind wine tasting fundraiser for National Star’s new Outdoor Learning and Activity Centre.
Thursday 29 March 2018, 7pm to 9.30pm
StarBistro at Royal Crescent
Can you taste the difference between Champagne and Cava? What about Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay? Not so sure? Join us for an evening of surprises, fun and a little enlightenment while sipping some delicious wines and enjoying scrumptious food from the kitchen of StarBistro at Royal Crescent, all hosted by Oxford Chelt Wine School’s Nick Gay.
The competition will be in teams of five or six (singles and couples will be made into teams, or you can make up a team yourself!) and we will include a wine trivia quiz AND some non-alcoholic drinks for those who just want to sniff but not taste.
This fantastic event costs £30 per person and includes some nibbles and bowl food to accompany each pair of wines.
All profits from the evening will support the development of National Star’s Outdoor Learning and Activity Centre at the charity’s base in Ullenwood. The Centre will give National Star learners with complex disabilities the opportunity to get involved in outdoor learning, including nature-based studies, painting, photography, small horticultural projects and other outdoor activities.
There are limited places available, so please book now to avoid disappointment.
Please ring 01242 572958 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to book.
