Join us for a special National Star tour on Wednesday 21 September as part of our Building a Brighter Future Appeal.
Forty-five minute tours can be booked for at 10am and 2.30pm.
On the tour you will have the opportunity to see first-hand almost every aspect of our work. For example, student-run social enterprises, art and theatre activities, therapy suites and a student residence. In addition, you’ll be able to view the construction site of the new specialist residential accommodation, funded by our Building a Brighter Future Appeal.

Enabling students to live independently
Residential accommodation is critical to National Star students, enabling them to live more independently and develop strong life skills. We urgently need to replace older facilities in Gloucester that no longer meet all the needs of the young people with complex disabilities who depend on us. We plan to build new accommodation at Ullenwood so that young people, who need very high levels of support due to complex disabilities, can easily access all of our specialist support teams and resources on-site.
We are confident of £4.5m in funding towards this £6m project, and the launch of our Building a Brighter Future Appeal aims to raise the final £1.5m by the summer of 2023.
