The Transition event offers an invaluable opportunity to see the huge range of services and products available, both locally and nationally, that can help students and their families access the support and opportunities they need to make a successful transition in the future. Come along to browse through the providers, to ask advice about specific challenges from the specialist organisations and also to meet and talk to other parents about their experiences.
‘I’m doing the Steps Into Work program at EDF Energy and came along to the Transition exhibition. I just wanted to say I found it extremely useful – I was looking for information (and help if I could find it!) on finding my own flat in Cheltenham as I will need adaptations made and found exactly what I was looking for at the exhibition! I now have an assessment with Expeditions Living, who I would not have heard about otherwise.’ – Steps into Work intern
This will be a unique event that provides an exclusive opportunity for parents to gain access to an extensive range of services from a number of organisations in one place. This year’s Transition event will take place on Wednesday 28 March 2018 at National Star College, 10.30am to 3.30pm.
