Virtual Pet Show

If you’re the proud owner of a pet that has talent, a dog with the waggiest tail or a rabbit who knows how to pose for the camera, consider entering them in National Star’s first ever Virtual Pet Show.

It’s simple to enter your pet for the online competition, which runs from 19 to 29 May on the National Star Facebook page.

National Star Patron and charity ambassador Dr Dawn Harper, ably assisted by her own dog Fennel, will judge the competition, which has the following categories:

  • Cutest Pet on Camera
  • Funniest Pet
  • My Pet’s Got Talent (photo or video entry)
  • Quirky Pet
  • Waggiest Tail (photo or video entry)
  • Best Pet Selfie
  • My Perfect Family
  • Wild Card

Whether you have a dog, a cat or a bunny that has a hidden talent or generally makes you laugh, enter them into any – or all! – of the eight categories for a minimum donation of £3 per category.

How do I enter?
  1. Make your entry donation here and let us know in the discussion section which category you are entering your pet into.
  2. Post an image or video of your pet in the discussion tab of the Virtual Pet Show event on the National Star Facebook page, along with a screenshot of your confirmed donation.
  3. We’ll acknowledge your entry and confirm we have received your donation.
  4. Sit back and relax until 3 June when Dr Dawn Harper will announce the winners!

All winners will receive a highly-coveted, limited edition rosette through the post.

‘Pets have kept families entertained, provided company for those self-isolating and generally brought a smile to the faces of their owners during the coronavirus lockdown. What better way to thank them for their companionship and support than to enter them into this fabulous Virtual Pet Show being organised by National Star. I cannot wait to judge the entries and to see the range of pets that are adored by families throughout Gloucestershire and beyond.’ Dr Dawn Harper.
