Volunteering
Each and every volunteer at National Star helps us to deliver the outstanding services and support that make a world of difference to the lives of people with disabilities. By joining the team you will be supporting learners and residents to develop their skills and confidence, enabling them to gain greater independence and realise their personal aspirations.
Other volunteer opportunities involve supporting our fundraising and charity retail teams. We enjoy working with volunteers who come from different backgrounds and can offer different life experiences, and we particularly welcome applications from people with disabilities.
Depending on the opportunity, we may ask you to commit to a full induction programme and further training to support you in your role as a volunteer. National Star remains committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young adults and children, and we require all volunteers to share this vision.
