Vocational volunteer opportunities

Volunteering with National Star is a fun and rewarding experience that could progress your career and open the door to meeting interesting new people. By giving a little of your time you can make a huge difference to the lives of young people with complex disabilities.

If you would like to volunteer at National Star, here’s a handy guide to what you need to do next:

Your skills and experience

Think about any relevant skills and experiences you can offer and what you would like to get out of the experience and take a look at our current volunteering roles.

Get in touch

Get in touch with us by completing this enquiry form. If you haven’t seen a suitable role but are still interested in volunteering, we’d love to hear from you anyway so we can bear you in mind for future roles.

We will contact you to find out a bit more about you and your interests, enabling us to ensure you and the role make the perfect fit.

We will send you an application pack and arrange a formal interview. If you are successfully offered a volunteering opportunity, we will complete full background checks and, depending on the role, a disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service may be required. View the checks we carry out for all new volunteers and employees.
