Ski experience
National Star's annual Andorra ski experience helps students develop confidence, physical skills, and resilience.

Each year, we invite students from all our campuses to join our ski experience in Andorra. This incredible overseas opportunity allows students to work on their learning goals in a unique and challenging environment. It’s a chance to push boundaries, build confidence, and create lifelong memories.
How are students selected?
To make this experience as inclusive as possible, we prioritise:
- First-time skiers and third-year students
- Students who self-fund their place on this exciting trip
Benefits of the ski experience
This trip offers wide-ranging benefits, including physical and life skill development. Before departure, students work closely with their physiotherapists to enhance their strength and resilience. This preparation focuses on:
- Head control
- Core stability
- Active movement
These essential skills help students to maximise their ability to ski and fully enjoy the experience on the slopes.
Dedicated supported from our team
While in Andorra, our dedicated team provide continuous support, ensuring each student receives the guidance and assistance they need throughout the trip.

My son is having the time of his life. I am so proud of him for pushing through and going completely out of his comfort zone. He has worked so hard to work through anxieties and emotional wellbeing support at college have supported him to achieve his goals and dreams. National Star have made his dream come true. The staff are all amazing and I can never thank them enough.
We can’t begin to imagine how much effort went into such a venture but know our son and other students are very lucky to have people at National Star who are willing to give so much for the benefit of others. We can’t thank you enough.
