Learn with us
Learn with us at National Star and prepare for a life full of independence and possibilities. We’ll help you to discover more about the world around you and get involved in the community.
If your goal is to get a job or voluntary role after college we can support you with that too.
With colleges in Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Wales you can be a full-time or part-time student. Some students live with us, while others live at home and come to college Monday to Friday.
There is no such thing as a ‘typical’ National Star student. Most are between 16 and 25-years old and have a range of physical and learning disabilities.
Many day students travel from Warwickshire, Oxfordshire and Worcestershire to study with us.
The diversity of all learners is what makes National Star a unique and vibrant place to learn.
What we offer
We invest time in getting to know your ideas for the future so that we understand what you need to learn to get there. This starts from the day we meet you and your parents and carers for the first time.
We will create a flexible, creative and bespoke learning programme for you.

Discover your future
We are experts in supporting students with special educational needs. Places at National Star are in high demand.
Following our last Ofsted inspection Student Union President Chelsea said: ‘The education that we are receiving is unbelievably outstanding.
‘The progress we are making is much better than what we would achieve at a mainstream FE college and hopefully the next generation of students will continue to get even better marks.’
It’s never too soon to look around the college before starting your application to join us as a student. Most young people start thinking about their transition to college in Year 11. Book your visit today.
