Trainer qualifications
At LiftTraining we offer qualifications for travel trainers who work on the programmes we manage, providing the skills and support they need to work at the highest level with learners.
These courses are suitable for people who are new to the travel training industry, or for staff currently working on programmes who want to develop more comprehensive procedures. Trainers will attend a three day induction course with subsequent follow on support while they work with three learners. The course is accredited as a BTEC level 3 certificate with Edexcel, and covers:
- Inducting learners
- Practical travel training delivery
- Completing assessments
- Concluding a travel training programme
- Keeping learners and travel training staff safe
Travel Trainers will be observed during their first year so that personalised feedback can be provided.
