Active Impact creates inclusive opportunities for disabled and non-disabled young people to do together. Working with partner organisations across Gloucestershire, activities and events take place throughout the year for young people up to the age of 25.

Aurora
Aurora Hyde Lodge is a nurturing residential home for young adults transitioning from full-time education. With bespoke care for eight residents, their emphasis is on work-related learning and active, sociable activities. Situated near Bristol city centre, their CQC-registered care home provides 52-week residential placements for individuals aged 18+ with complex needs.

Consensus Support Services
Consensus support individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs. With almost 100 services across the country – both supported living and residential – they cover Scotland, Wales, The South Coast, West and South London, the Home Counties, East Anglia, and the Midlands. Consensus also have a number of services specialising in supporting those with Prader-Willi Syndrome.

Gloucestershire Parent Carer Forum

Gloucestershire Parent Carer Forum is a voice for those with lived experience of being a Parent Carer (This means parents and/or carers of children with any disability, SEN, condition, impairment or additional need). They can create a bridge to the providers of statutory services to help build better services for all families of disabled children in Gloucestershire. They offer social meet ups, free training and the opportunity to give your views and ideas to help improve local services for disabled children and their families.

Goals Beyond Grass
Goals Beyond Grass provide inclusive opportunities. They provide Powerchair Football, Inclusive Cycling, and PAN Football. They aim to deliver inclusive sessions across Gloucestershire helping disabled children and adults to reduce isolation and meet new people within their community by trying new sports and games.
Goals Beyond Grass deliver PAN Football in both Gloucester and the Forest of Dean, Powerchair Football in Gloucester and Bristol and Cycling county wide. They also deliver social opportunities in Gloucester.

Heart of England mencap are a social business with a chartiable purpose, supporting people with learning disabilities across Warwickshire and Worcestershire. They deliver a wide range of support, enabling individuals to live independently within their own homes, or with support tailored to meet their needs. Life Ways
Lifeways is the UK’s largest team of support professionals providing support for adults in the community. They support adults with diverse and complex needs, including learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries, and mental health conditions. POhWER is a charity who provide information, advice, support and advocacy to people who experience disability, vulnerability, distress and social exclusion. They support people who face difficult issues and want to make their voice heard.
POhWER are an independent organisation, separate from the government, local councils, the NHS and other organisations that provide health and social care.
In Gloucestershire, POhWER provides statutory advocacy services that include; Independent Mental Health Advocacy, Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy, Independent Health Complaints Advocacy and Independent Care Act Advocacy.

Windmill Barns
Three purpose built disabled adapted holiday cottages, available throughout the year for short breaks and long stays. Built and run by a family with their own disabled daughter, with an attention to detail to ensure that Windmill Barns are fully accessible. Based within beautiful Warwickshire countryside, close to Stratford upon Avon & the Cotswolds. Offering 3 bedroom and 2 bedroom cottage options. Owners living on site, offering advice and support if needed.
All with accessible kitchens, an accessible bedroom with profiling bed and ceiling hoist into en-suite wet-room, internal lift, and private hot-tub with hoist. A wide range of equipment including mobile hoist, riser/recliner chair, WC standing frame, and shower trolley are also available to hire.
