A staff team from Bamboo Technology will take part in the National Star’s Sunrise Walk.

The sponsored walk, a beautiful 12km circular route, sets off from Ullenwood, Cheltenham, at 6.15am on March 26. It offers chance to soak up the views around the Cotswolds, as well as take in the morning’s invigorating sunrise.

Bamboo, based in Princess Elizabeth Way, provides the essential ICT infrastructure and support to customers to build their digital future. It will pay for the team’s places and employees will be getting sponsorship as a team.

‘We are inspired by the work that National Star College do to support the lives of young people with disabilities,’ said Stuart Davis, CEO and Founder of Bamboo.

‘Supporting and celebrating diversity is something that has and will remain of huge importance for Bamboo, so it seems only fitting that we take part in this fantastic event! The Bamboo Team are hoping to raise as much as possible for the charity. It’s a great opportunity to raise awareness whilst bringing everyone together.’

Register for the walk today! Advance tickets are £20 per adult and £10 per child (under 16) and £25 per adult and £15 per child (under 16) on the day. The charity is asking each walker to raise a suggested minimum of £50.

‘We’re delighted that Bamboo is taking part and hope other companies will follow their example,’ said Monica Farthing, National Star Fundraiser.

‘Every penny you raise by taking part in the Sunrise Walk will help transform the lives of young people with disabilities, creating a future full of exciting possibilities.’

All proceeds will go to National Star’s Building a Brighter Future Development Fund to invest in specialist facilities for young people with complex disabilities.
