Dairy lends support to Sunrise Walk

Cotteswold Dairy wants to get people on the ‘moo-ve’ in aid of National Star.

The family business is supporting our charity by distributing free of charge thousands of leaflets for National Star’s Sunrise Walk.

Circular Walk

The 12km circular walk takes place on Sunday 3 April. Starting at 6am, it begins and finishes at National Star’s Ullenwood campus with stunning views along the Cotswold Way.

Louise Woodward, a Director at Cotteswold Dairy, said: ‘Cotteswold Dairy is delighted to support National Star by bringing awareness of their Sunrise Walk to our doorstep customers through a leaflet drop.

‘National Star is a fantastic facility that we have been proud to give our support to in many ways over recent years. We hope some of our customers will be inspired when they receive the leaflet to take up the challenge themselves and join the walk around this stunning part of the Cotswolds for such as good cause.’

Advance entry to the walk is £20 per adult (16 years and up) and £10 per child. Take part and raise a minimum of £50 for the charity. Find out more and book your place

David Ellis, Chief Executive of National Star, said: ‘We’re delighted that Cotteswold Dairy, a true Gloucestershire business success story, is supporting us. Like other charities, fundraising was dramatically affected by the pandemic. More than ever we ask people to support us in what will be a wonderful event.

‘Every penny raised by taking part in the Sunrise Walk will help transform the lives of young people with disabilities.’

Cotteswold Dairy delivers fresh milk direct to the doorstep of thousands of homes across Cheltenham and the surrounding areas. The business sources its high quality milk from local family farms and supplies it in returnable and reusable glass bottles, along with a range of other goods and dairy products.
