Fiona Fullerton turns judge for Gloucestershire version of Strictly Come Dancing

Former Bond girl Fiona Fullerton will cross the dance floor to the judges’ table at Gloucestershire’s answer to Strictly.
After being a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing in 2013, she will be one of the judges for our Strictly Star event on 20 September 2014 at the Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham.
The competition will see 16 county celebrities and business people take to the dance floor to raise money for people with disabilities.
‘Having been a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing 2013, when I was partnered by Anton du Beke, and because I live locally, I was delighted to be asked to be a judge for Strictly Star,’ said Miss Fullerton.
‘I love dancing and have been a judge recently for the Hereford Cathedral Trust Strictly evening and enjoyed the event enormously. It was great fun to be on the other side of the desk. So I shall look forward to this evening with relish.’
Among those who are taking part are Paralympian Mel Nicholls, Oli Christie, founder of Neon Play and celebrity doctor Dr Dawn Harper.
Organised with Jazzjiveswing, all money raised will go towards supporting people with physical and learning disabilities and acquired brain injuries. We hope to raise £50,000.
So what will be Miss Fullerton’s judging style on the night?
‘I will be looking for personality and panache,’ she said. ‘The steps don’t really matter. As a judge I am soft and encouraging and ever so slightly naughty.’
