National Star wins Team of the Year in SoGlos Business Awards
National Star is proud to have won the SoGlos Gloucestershire Business Award for Team of the Year.
The category was open to businesses which could demonstrate how exceptional teamwork has led to their success – particularly over the past year – to achieve consistent growth, the completion of ambitious projects and / or achieving high levels of customer care and service. National Star was shortlisted alongside AP Air Europe, Nimble Elearning and Over Farm.
The accolade recognised National Star’s exceptional teamwork, commitment and flexibility, which has enabled the charity to stay open every single day of the pandemic in order to support young people with disabilities.
From our IT team introducing new technology so that students shielding at home could access their education sessions to running a vaccination day for more than 130 students and our Physio team staffing a 24-hour on-call rota to support students and residents with respiratory conditions, National Star staff have gone the extra mile. Parents praised our team in the light of the coronavirus situation. One said: ‘You are all doing an incredible job of keeping our young people happy and safe. We are deeply grateful.’
