Working in partnership

We work with a number of international partners who help us continue to improve and extend specialist services to people with disabilities. These relationships are also vital in ensuring we add as much value as possible to the college experience while learners are with us.

International work experience

We work with partners in Europe, Kenya, Nigeria and the Lebanon on joint projects, staff exchanges and learner enrichment programmes. For example, learners from the college’s Creative and Performing Arts department have taken part in a Creating Communities project, which entailed visiting four other countries and creating joint pieces.

Assistive technology

As a technology exemplar organisation, we work with a number of colleges, private businesses and developers to create and adapt new technologies – all of which help to improve the lives of people with disabilities. We are always interested in talking to individuals and organisations who are keen to work on such projects.
