City & Guilds Level 3 Award for Learning Support Practitioners
This course is designed to develop the knowledge and skills of individuals working in support roles. It enables candidates to prepare, deliver and evaluate their practice – specifically to support learners with additional learning needs. The course also prepares support workers to work in a wide range of support contexts and to differing learning requirements. It is an ‘in service’ qualification, and all candidates must have access to 30 hours of supporting learners during the duration of the programme.
Delivery: Three blocks of two days.
Support hours required: 30 hours.
Number of observations: Three at pass level.
