Connecting Classrooms, 2012 – 2013

This British Council funded programme supported our partnership with Joyland Special Secondary school in Kisumu, Kenya. Learners worked on joint curriculum activities to discuss their perceptions of sustainable living, disability equality in learning, living and work and the differences in their cultural lifestyles. A staff exchange programme gave teachers the opportunity to deliver lessons to support these activities in each partner school. National Star College has worked with Joyland School in Kenya since 1997.
