These accommodations range from offering five bedrooms through to 25 at Bradbury Gardens in Cheltenham, and as such, some feel busier and livelier than others. A huge amount of consideration goes into matching students to the most appropriate environment for them, and takes into account both their personal and social needs.
Our accommodations, which have a total of twelve independence flats, vary in the facilities they offer to better suit the requirements of learners. Some, for example, offer en-suite rooms, overhead tracking and large areas for socialising and study. Despite these differences, all residencies have experienced and knowledgeable care staff on hand to support all levels of disability. Support levels are specific to the individual and not to the accommodation, meaning that if 1:1 assistance is necessary, this will be provided no matter where learners are based.
National Star College transport ensures that any learners staying at Gloucester and Cheltenham locations are able to access the college at Ullenwood easily for their studies, as well as local amenities, clubs and off-site activities.
At such an important time for learning new skills, making friends and increasing independence, residential staff work hard to ensure that this part of college life creates fantastic memories for years to come!
