Are you ready to take on one of the world’s most iconic running events while making a life-changing difference? We’re excited to invite runners to apply for our charity ballot place for the 2027 London Marathon.

By running for National Star, you’ll be helping us support young people with disabilities.

Whether you’re a seasoned marathon runner or taking on your very first 26.2 miles, we’ll support you every step of the way. As part of Team National Star, you’ll receive dedicated fundraising support throughout your journey from our fundraiser Monica who ran it in 2024! The support will include training tips, and regular updates to keep you motivated.

If you enter the official London Marathon ballot and are lucky enough to secure your own place, we’d also love you to still fundraise for National Star. Simply let us know and raise as much as you can to support our work.

To secure National Star’s charity place, runners are asked to commit to a minimum fundraising target of £2,000. This can be achieved through sponsorship or other fundraising activities you choose to organise.

Your fundraising will cover the cost of the marathon place (already paid for by National Star*) whilst also helping to fund vital specialist equipment and facilities. These resources will support students learning, independence, and their transition to life after college.
