The joy of making music

Ullenwood is alive to the sound of music thanks to the fantastic support of our long–standing Patron Dr PJ Crook.

PJ’s unstinting support for over 35 years has provided interactive, musical and theatre workshops for our students to take part in, much–needed art equipment and resources, and enabled us to build the PJ Crook Creative Arts Centre at our Ullenwood campus.

Thanks to her generosity, we have now been able to install a range of lovely outdoor musical instruments for our students to interact with and play.

And they are going down a storm, bringing the joy of music–making to more students whilst helping them to develop their listening, communication and social skills, as well as learning about taking turns and cues from others.
