Ways to fundraise for National Star
Whether you’re a school, community group, company or one person, there are lots of ways YOU can make a real difference to the lives of people with disabilities when you support National Star. See what some of our fundraising stars have been up to…
Small change makes a big difference
The Church in Warden Hill, incorporating St Christopher’s Church and United Reformed Church, has been fundraising for National Star for the last five years. By hosting two of our collection tins they have raised a fantastic £919.65.
Artwork in the spotlight
Spotlight Stationery donated a percentage of their profits from the sale of contemporary stationery boxes, raising a brilliant £295. Artwork created by National Star learners was also featured on one of Spotlight Stationery’s postcard sets, with the designs sold to subscribers across the globe.
A runaway success
Cheltenham and County Harriers chose National Star as their charity of the year in 2016. They raised an incredible £1,430 through a variety of activities, including coffee mornings, raffles, hosting collection tins at training and sponsored walks.
