Wear It Green Day is back and this year, we’re going bigger, greener, and louder than ever before.

Throughout June, we’re inviting students, schools, colleges, businesses and organisations to choose a day that works for them to go green and get involved.

Our official Wear It Green Day is Wednesday 24 June and we want to see June turn green.

What is Wear It Green Day?

It’s simple. It’s playful. And it makes a real difference.

Choose a day in June and make it all things green:

• Green socks, green coats, green dresses
• A green tie in meetings or even a green wig if you’re feeling bold
• Green cakes, green lunches, green treats
• Decorate your space, your classroom, your office
• Turn your day green in any way you like

Do it your way. The brighter, bolder, and more creative, the better.

Why we’re wearing it green

Every green item worn and every £2 donated helps National Star continue to provide life‑changing education, opportunities and support for young people with complex disabilities.

This campaign is proudly student‑led, showing what happens when young people take action and communities rally around a cause that truly matters. By getting involved, you’re helping encourage inclusion everywhere.

Let’s put National Star on the map as the charity that quite literally paints the place green.

3. Donate £2 (or raise even more if you can)
4. Share your green on social media using #WearItGreen 

Whether you join on Wednesday 24 June with National Star or pick another day that suits your organisation, you’ll still be painting the place green and putting National Star on the map.
