Job description
StarBistro is no ordinary bistro which is why we are looking for an extra special front of house team member to join our social enterprise.
As well as delivering excellent customer service as you take orders, serve food, and work the till, you will also be passing on all your hospitality knowledge and skills to National Star students keen to learn everything they need to know about working in a café or restaurant to prepare them for the world of work when they leave college.
You will enjoy working with young people and have patience and empathy for the needs of students. Leading by example you will mentor them to achieve their targets, building their confidence with positive praise and recognition.
We’re hoping the successful candidate will have a warm and friendly approach with a passion for food and learning. You may be working in a care and support role and fancy a change or be working in hospitality and want a new role where you feel your contribution makes a genuine difference to people’s lives.
