10. Limitation of our Liability

10.1. Nothing in these terms of use excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, or our fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.

10.2. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all conditions, warranties, representations or other terms which may apply to our site or any content on it, whether express or implied.

10.3. We will not be liable to any user for any loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, even if foreseeable, arising under or in connection with:

  • use of, or inability to use, our site; or
  • use of or reliance on any content displayed on our site.

10.4. If you are a business user, please note that in particular, we will not be liable for:

14.1. We reserve the right to vary event registration fees and the prices of any goods or services listed without notice. All event registrations and orders for goods or services are subject to availability and we reserve the right to refuse to accept any registration and to refuse to supply any goods or services to any individual.

15. Encryption

15.1 Although our site uses encryption security software in areas where online payment details are accepted, the security of information and payments transmitted via the internet cannot be guaranteed. Any loss incurred or sustained when you transmit information by means of e-mail or other internet links shall be borne solely and exclusively by you and in no event shall any such loss in whole or part be borne by us or our agents.

16. Force Majeure

16.1. We shall not be held to be in breach of our obligations hereunder nor liable to you for any loss or damage which may be suffered by another party due to any cause beyond our reasonable control including without limitation any act of God, fire, storm, flood, lightening, disease, strike, trade dispute, act of terrorism, any act or omission of government or regulatory bodies or communications operators.

17.1. If any provisions of these terms and conditions are held to be invalid or unenforceable, the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.

17.2.These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between us and you and supersede all other (prior or contemporaneous) communications and proposals, whether electronic or written, between us and you.

17.3. Any failure by us to exercise or enforce any of our rights under these terms and conditions shall not be deemed to be a waiver of any such rights or operate so as to bar the subsequent exercise or enforcement or any such rights.

18. Applicable Law

18.1. If you are a consumer, please note that these terms of use, its subject matter and its formation, are governed by English law. You and we both agree to that the courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction. However, if you are a resident of Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are resident of Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.

18.2. If you are a business, these terms of use, its subject matter and its formation (and any non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by English law. We both agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
