Celebrating Kathryn Rudd

Natspec and National Star are hosting a special event to celebrate the life and work of Kathryn Rudd OBE. We are inviting her colleagues, family and friends to join us to recognise her tremendous contribution to the SEND sector on Monday 10 June at 7pm at the Crowne Plaza in Stratford-Upon-Avon.

Kathryn, a former principal of National Star and Chair of Natspec sadly passed away in August 2023. Kathryn was a Senior HMI for Ofsted up until her passing last year. It was Kathryn’s wish to leave a legacy to National Star that would celebrate and support young people with disabilities.

The Kathryn Rudd Opportunity Fund will help realise her dream to level the playing field, providing new opportunities to those young people who will benefit from them.

During the evening you will hear from some guest speakers who knew Kathryn well. There will also be an opportunity for you to share your favourite memories of Kathryn throughout the evening.

All proceeds from the ticket sales will go to the Kathryn Rudd Opportunity Fund.
