Comedy, Curry and Quiz Night

Our Comedy, Curry & Quiz night is back for its second year! Following a sell-out in 2023, we are offering another entertaining and fun packed evening. Comedy from the hilarious Aaron Simmonds, delicious 2 course meal from the fabulous Tandoori G and the fantastic Faye Hatcher, former BBC presenter, now wedding celebrant, media trainer and event host to steer us through our quiz, auction and raffle, with prizes galore!

Aaron Simmonds has been failing to stand up for 34 years; luckily he is far better at comedy than standing up. Aaron has appeared on QI (BBC Two), Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV), Russell Howard Hour (Sky), Undeniable (Comedy Central) and Guessable (Comedy Central) and has been heard on BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio Scotland. Aaron offers sharply-observed comedy which is grounded in his disability but is by no means limited by it. He has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe since 2019. In 2023, he embarked on his biggest challenge: to perform Stand-up standing up! His Edinburgh Fringe show, Baby Steps, received rave reviews and was longlisted for the ISH Edinburgh Best Comedy Show.
