Virtual tour
Lake House is a small student house on the Ullenwood Campus. It suits students who prefer quiet spaces and need one-to-one support at all times. Its grounds are a haven for wildlife and lots of garden birds flock to the bird feeders nearby.
Many of the students living at Lake House are autistic. We can provide routine and consistency at the house for them.
Situated on the edge of the Ullenwood campus, Lake House has a separate sensory breakout area. There are five en-suite bedrooms, each with overhead tracking. Also, it has a light and airy communal lounge and dining area. The kitchen has been designed to be accessible. Lake House has an inviting patio area with outdoor seating and an accessible swing.
Students close to leaving college often live in the independence flat on the first floor of Lake House.
We were very pleased with our son's first year at National Star and felt the positive updates we heard were in line with what we have seen at home. He is more considered and is able to take his time and think about things. He is now waiting for his turn more consistently and is calmer and mature in many ways.
