Elmscroft Community Café in Gloucester

While StarBistro remains temporarily closed to members of the public, why not visit our pop-up café, run by National Star students at the Elmscroft Community Centre, at Coronation Grove, Gloucester every Thursday during term-time between 11am – 2pm?

You’ll be able to tuck into delicious sandwiches, cakes and soup made by the students and support them in improving their customer service skills.

Help young people with disabilities gain valuable work experience

The number of people with disabilities in work before coronavirus was rising. As the UK slowly recovers, young people with disabilities will need greater support to get a job.

Our Work Outcomes programme builds the skills and confidence of young disabled people to prepare them for the world of work. See the skills of our students in action by supporting our new pop-up community cafe in Gloucester. You’ll be sure of a warm welcome.

The cafe is proving to be highly popular with local residents but we’re always keen to welcome new customers! Cakes that regularly feature on the menu include lemon drizzle, rocky road and Oreo cheesecake!

Thank you for supporting our students to gain valuable work skills, now and in the future.
