Discover the perfect role for you at National Star

At National Star, the specialist and diverse nature of what we do means that we recruit across a wide range of disciplines and skill sets. This ensures that each of our 800 (and counting!) employees are able to provide all of the support and specialist care learners and residents need, enabling them to grow in independence and achieve their goals.

And we’re not standing still. We continue to expand our services – including our long-term living accommodation,  LiftTraining programme and Steps into Work programme – around the country. We’re excited about our new day services provision – National Star in Wales – opening in September 2016, which follows on from the success of National Star at Hereford.

Our roles can be based at a number of locations, including one of our residences in Cheltenham or Gloucester and our college campus at Ullenwood, as well as a number of locations around the country. Depending on the requirements of the post, we can offer a range of full-time, part-time, term-time only and all-year posts.

Once we’ve found you, you’ll not only enjoy a range of benefits, but you’ll also know that everything you do – no matter your role – will help change the lives of people with disabilities.

We proudly place a strong emphasis on training and development, with all employees undergoing a thorough induction programme and follow-up training. National Star is an accredited NVQ / Diploma Centre, and offers an NVQ / Diploma programme in Health and Social Care (levels 2 and 3) as well as Leadership in Health and Social Care (level 5).
